This event is designed for blind and low vision high school students and their families, STEP 2026 empowers transition-age youth to explore identity, independence, advocacy, and life beyond high school. In this inaugural year, Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: A Journey to Self-Reflection and Discovery guides students to better understand who they are, what they want, and how to move forward with confidence. Participants joined this webinar to learn how qualifying students can benefit from this unique opportunity, what families can expect, who the program is best suited for, and how STEP 2026 aligns with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) as a Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) experience.
