Making fudgy pecan brownies. Items:

• 1 stick butter, melted.
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup finely chopped pecan halves (substitute or leave out if you don't want nuts)
• 8 by 8 pan
• mixing bowl
• oven
