  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch pieces for a total of 18 pieces
  • 9 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more, to taste
  • Preheated oven at 400 DG
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Mixing Bowl
