Fall Prevention:

One out of every three sighted persons over the age of 65 will fall this year. For people with a visual impairment, that number is much higher. Older adults with a visual impairment are 50% more likely to suffer falls than are fully sighted individuals. Do not be one of them. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. This is a "must read" and will consider theories, ideas, and provide fodder for discussion of our ACB organization as we have moved forward. Will history continue to repeat itself? What have we learned from our history? ACB presidents, past and present, have been invited to speak next week on Tuesday, October 12. We will then decide where this discussion group will travel. Is this the end? Or shall we read another book?
