The lessons learned from LGBTQ plus advocacy series concluded with this session. This program focused on the importance of allies in the LGBTQ plus community historically and today. From the founding of BFLAG to the present, BPI ally, Margie Donovan, facilitated this fascinating discussion along with a multitude of staunch LGBTQ plus supporters and friends. We heard from members of the LGBTQ plus community about the importance of allies in their lives. As always, we welcomed comments and questions from the audience. The strength and visibility, not to mention the support of allies for the LGBTQ plus community, can serve across the disability community. ACB can gain a lot from enfolding our Allies more within our community, too. This promises to be a riveting conclusion to our series.
