Join Herbie and tori as we take you on another cooking adventure. Feel free to either listen or cook along with us. This week, Kaila Allen returned and showed us how to make Caramel Flan. If you cooked along with us, you needed the following:

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1-2/3 cups sweetened condensed milk
• 1 cup milk
• 3 eggs
• 3 egg yolks
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Skillet
• ungreased 2-qt. round souffle dish
• blender
• larger baking pan
• oven
• wire rack
• knife
• spoon

Towards the end, we had Tori's tips. She offered some additional tricks as well as both vegan and gluten-free substitutions where possible. I also considered any requests for future cooking demos.

INGREDIENTS FOR TWICE BAKED POTATO CASSEROLE:

• 1/2-pound thin bacon
• 8 russet potatoes
• 3 tablespoons canola oil
• 2 sticks (1 pound) salted butter - Plus more for buttering baking dish
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup grated Cheddar or Jack cheese (or a mix of both), plus more for topping
• 1 cup whole milk
• 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
• 3 green onions sliced
• kosher salt
• Freshly ground black pepper

Ingredients for Mac & Cheese:

• 1 lb. Velveeta processed cheese – cubed
• 16 oz. pepper jack cheese - shredded from block (pre-shredded cheese is not recommended for this recipe)
• 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1 cup milk (more can be added if desired)
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (from the green can)
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 stick butter – melted
• 1 lb. box elbow macaroni cooked according to package
