Participants joined tori and me as we took you on another cooking adventure. This time: Beat the heat and get ready for summer as Heidi showed us Frozen Smores and Grasshopper pie. (No real grasshoppers are used in this recipe) If cooking with us, you will need the following:
Smores: o 1 1/2-quart (48 oz.) chocolate ice cream (softened o 1 (7.5 oz.) jar Marshmallow fluff o 1 box graham crackers o 9 by 13 baking dish o Scoop for ice cream o knife for cutting frozen food. o freezer
Grasshopper Pie: o 1/2 (10 oz.) package grasshopper mint and fudge cookies (crushed) o 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese (softened) o 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk o 3-4 drop green food coloring. o 1 chocolate crumb crust (store-bought or homemade) o chopped mint Oreos. o Food Processor Stand Mixer with Paddle o Spoon o Plastic Wrap o Fridge
We also had Tori’s tips where she offered some additional tricks as well as both Vegan and Gluten Free substitutions where possible. We will also consider any recipe requests or future cooking demos.
